We study competing properties to identify vacancies, advertised rental rates and recent deals, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of each competing property. Analysis of market demographics provides valuable information for use in asset promotion.
We identify the strengths and weaknesses of an asset—both on an absolute basis and relative to competing properties—to determine market rates, expected marketing time and optimum asset positioning.
